Great empires like Egypt (Kemet), Ghana, Kush , Songhay, Timbuktu, Nubia etc. once served as cradles of civilization led by kings and queens.

My attempt here is to provide a small sample of some great worrier Queens that help shaped Africa and hopefully help dispel stereotypical images of  ancient African culture while serving as a springboard to African heritage.
